The wharf spur 1957

A 2-6-2 tank engine stands outside Petherick’s yard on the wharf in July 1957. In the background are some of the original buildings, including the old scout hut and Charlie Dinner’s shoe repair shop. To the right, some of the old canal warehouses, now converted to a restaurant.
